The Harmony-Preston Valley State Trail connects Harmony to the Root River Trail system with over 60 miles of recreational trail which allows biking, skiing, hiking or roller blading. The trail travels through lovely countryside and amongst the wildlife. The trail head starts right behind the Visitor Center passing through a variety of wooded areas and large panoramic views of rolling hills, spring-fed Camp Creek and pastoral farm sites. The trail head features a new park, picnic shelter, play ground, parking lot and Visitor Center.

Established in 1940, the only movie theatre in Fillmore County has first run movies showing every weekend. The JEM Theatre is located in Harmony's downtown area and features a historic look at a theatre of the past.
